Most fast food restaurants are just that, fast, and no frills "mom/ pop." shop. Kevin's chicken tenders is good but could've been a little more crisper outside and lacks seasonings, therefore flavoring, although the chicken was moist. The consistently may be the issue. The potatoes are really tasty and crisp. I got there at 11:30'ish just two other customers. The area was clean but won't be featured in any designer's posts. The lady was cordial but not cheerful or friendly. I didn't hold that against her. We all have those days!

They change oil daily. I try to tell all I meet to try it. Plan on going early for best selection.

Seriously the best fried chicken anywhere!!! I wish they also sold mashed potatoes, collard greens and Mac and cheese! If they make chicken this good start making sides Omg!

We go to Kevin's all the time, and the food and service are consistently always the best!

Great fried chicken (much better than KFC IMO). This place is in a gas station right off 4500 S, unassuming, but honestly, it had pretty good traditional fried chicken. The drumsticks and breasts were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, the potato wedges were good and for gas station/fast good style fried chicken you honestly can't go wrong. Their biscuits and potato salad were mediocre at best but can't expect insane sides at a place like this. If you're looking for something mega fast and cheap fast food (that's better than KFC), worth giving this place a shot.

Great fried chicken! I know... In the gas station. To be honest, some of the BEST fried chicken I have had in Utah has been at gas stations! LMAO! Sorry, I didn't get photos. Moist and delicious fried chicken that is well seasoned, with the perfect crunchy coating! I wish the hours were extended as I seem to always find myself there when they have run out of chicken in the evening. Sigh. It is definitely best to try and get there during lunch, as the chicken is super hot and fresh at that time. Of course that is always when I am at work and unable to go. Boo. Seriously though, if you find yourself in the area and craving fried chicken in the early afternoon, you should give this place a try.

This is my favorite place for a chicken sandwich. I love them so much I have even made them my birthday lunch choice before. The staff and owners are so kind. I love supporting local. I have never regretted a single visit. Everyone I've shown has also loved them. Lunch rush can be busy but they work efficiently and I have always appreciated that. Love Kevin's Fried Chicken so much!

I'm not sure what to say other than the food was delicious and my experience was great. The owners were working that day (like everyday) and we're so kind. Family business always makes a place that much better in my opinion. Kevin's fried chicken has been around for a very long time and the couple that owns it has been there serving us great chicken from day one. The hours are shorter since the COVID-19 stuff but the lady told me they did it because they were getting older and the business takes up a lot of their free time. I guess when you've been doing it for a long time it tends to take it's toll. Located inside the gas station (don't let it put you off!) is where you'll find this family ran chicken place. Not what you'd be expecting, but it doesn't take away from the great food you'll get here. The chicken is fresh and the food is tasty! The chicken sandwich was delicious and had some jalapenos on it to give it a little extra kick. Handmade chicken strips are what this place is about! The potato wedges are also breaded for maximum tastiness! Plan ahead because they might run out of food later in the day. You don't want to show up late and walk away empty handed.

I tried the chicken fingers and a thigh. I ordered 3 chicken fingers and she gave me A LOT! Now I have food for tomorrow! As far as the food goes, I think the thigh tastes better than the fingers. I can't really compare the fingers to anything because I normally never order them. They weren't as crisp as the thigh, but it was probably shortly before closing so the food wasn't the freshest. I think taste wise though, the thigh is better than KFC. The owner was really nice, I think I'll try coming back around lunch hour though, to see of it tastes any better. I did visit once before and they were sold out of everything but fingers. Glad I took the time to revisit!
